The pictures above are from "Bocage Square", in Setúbal city.
Setúbal is my hometown, a maritime city 30 km from Lisbon.
Bocage was a famous poet and because he was born in Setúbal, the city´s main square was named after him. Another famous person in Setúbal was the singer Luisa Toddy, one of the city´s main avenues was also named after her.
Bocage square is the place where I grew up. It´s a big commercial zone, with many local shops, banks and other services. The City Hall is located in Bocage square too.
The bottom picture is the oldest, about 100 plus years ago, and the picture on the top is the most recent. In future posts, I´ll publish more pictures of this town.
